Sung worship is an important part of church in a gathered setting. Whilst we do sing a hymn or two, most of the songs are contemporary drawing from a variety of sources such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes,  Rex Allchurch, Misty Edwards, Brian Johnson,  etc.

Join us one Thursday evening or Sunday morning and you could find a guitarist leading without any musical backing. On another you may find other musicians combining their talents to help us praise God and worship Him.

“Come up here and let me show you…..”

Moses talked with God as with a friend. Friends have conversations. Sometime these conversations are full of fun and hope and sometimes they are more serious.

We are told we can come to God with “all types of prayers and requests”

Sometimes, as with people with whom we are really comfortable, we may not need to talk at all but just be together in His presence.

Getting a heavenly perspective

God likes to give us His perspectives on situations. As we spend time with Him we see things as they really are.

Faith comes from seeing things His way.

Prayer times

As a Church we pray together in small groups through the week.

We may just simply soak in His presence or we may seek Him for what is on His heart or bring things to Him that are on ours.

Are we told to pray?

From these verses (5 to 10) in Matthew 6 it is clear that we should pray if we want to see Heaven on Earth

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray”

“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven….”

WE BELIEVE PRAYER WORKS because God wants people well

We see it work. God heals today!

As the body of Christ we are naturally a Supernatural people. Christ did not command us to do what we are unable to accomplish.

We have all been given the opportunity to do what Jesus did….”anyone” can participate

Jn 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

What did Jesus tell his disciples to do?..we’re His disciples

Mt 10:7 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’

Mt 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

The early disciples needed signs and wonders to attract attention to the do we.

Ac 8:6 When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said.

The message of the Kingdom needs to be with demonstration and not just with persuasive words

1Co 2:4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,

1Co 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.

It is not God’s will that any should be lost and not His will that people are sick. HE DOES NOT MAKE PEOPLE SICK. Jesus healed them all.

Jesus did what He saw His father doing. He did that which was in The Father’s heart.

God is good…and all good things come from God.

We are to demonstrate to values and the powers of the Kingdom of God. Which is the dominion of the King. There is no sickness in heaven!

So if you would like prayer then please give us a call and we would be delighted to pray for you.

GO Church has a Home group structure.

Currently, we  meet on a Thursday evening starting at 8.00pm. This will change as the opportunity and needs arise.

We believe our faith is worked out relationally in small groups.

Groups may gather in homes, coffee shops, and other locations across Horsham or villages in  Sussex & Surrey.

In these groups, individuals will  find a caring family providing mutual support and accountability.

To get involved contact Gary or Joyce on: 07973 118026 or email us at: or use the Contact tab on this website

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son”. (Mt 22:12  NIV)

GO out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.

“ ‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.

Then the master told his servant, ‘GO out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. (Luke 14v21-23 NIV )

Treasure Hunting” – we are looking for God’s treasures. This gives us the opportunity to take our faith into every day environments. It is based on a God inspired idea given to Kevin Dedmon of Bethel Church California.

He writes about it in his book :

In his book, “The Ultimate Treasure Hunt“,  Kevin captures the heart of witnessing and personal evangelism through this taking-it-to-the-streets ministry where healing, miracles, and deliverance are regular occurrences.

This type of evangelism is based on biblical principles. His book contains personal testimonies and shows the simplicity of hearing a word of knowledge from God that provides clues for the treasure hunt.

Witnessing the love and saving grace of Jesus should not be invasive or argumentative; rather, it is a supernatural encounter when God reveals Himself in a specific way.

Treasure Hunting in this way must not be thought of the only way to do evengelism. It isn’t. It is one of many. What it does do however is provide a gentle way to overcome the Christian’s fears of approaching people with the message and demonstration of the Kingdom of Heaven. Many of us believe a lie.

We have been told that people will reject us, be rude, be offended and if nothing else think and act as if we are odd and this is a lie. People want reality. ”This is a form of power evangelism who’s time has come. ”

This approach stimulates in us an awareness that God is speaking to us all the time. We just don’t spent time to listen.
